Trumpcard CD Release Benefit show

CD Release Party and Benefit show

with Trumpcard and SMTX River Rollers

The day has finally come! The epic CD release of TrumpCard's debut, Use Your Collusion. Come buy it and make us famous. We promise not to forget you when we play Cleveland. Also, our buddys from The Awful Lot (ATX) and Worm Suicide (ATX) plan to pummel you into submission. The proceeds of this event go toward medical costs incurred during Roller Derby practice by Archangel of SMRR. We love her and we love you! So, come out and have some fun for a great cause.

San Marcos River Rollers' own ArchAngel, Angelica, broke her ankle! She has no insurance and needed major, emergancy surgery. She has since been kicked out of her home with her 3 kids and her car broke down. I swear she's living in a country song!! Please come help her get rolling again at her Injury Benefit Show!

They'll be some killer entertainment from TrumpCard (DC) 10pm, Worm Suicide & The Devil Club (ATX) 9pm, and The Awful Lot (ATX) 8pm.

We are working hard to make some fun crafty items to sell and a couple Derby Girls will be rollin' around asking for donations. Stay tuned for some awesome local items available that night only at the Silent Auction (christmas shopping, anyone?). And come THIRSTY because the always amazing Buzz Mill San Marcos will be donating 10% of their sales that night for the benefit!!

Fill your pockets with cash and come have a great night!

Pease let us know if you have any items you would like to donate for the silent auction. You can post here or message Vanessa.

Invasive Fish Fry and Awards Ceremony Winter 2018

Invasive Fish Fry and Awards Ceremony Winter 2018

Hosted by Atlas Environmental

Winter Polespear Tournament 2018 Invasive Fish Fry and Awards Ceremony brought to you by Atlas Environmental and Buzz Mill San Marcos!

The 9th Biannual Polespear Tournament takes place November 1st to November 21st removing invasive fish, snails, and trash out of the upper San Marcos River. Across the past 8 tournaments, 2,511 suckermouth catfish and 100 tilapia have been removed adding up to over 1,460 lbs invasive biomass! All removed fish are donated for fish emulsion compost. Even though these fish are invasive, we believe they are still a resource and nothing ends up in a landfill.

Atlas Environmental is very excited to team up with Buzz Mill San Marcos again and put together another amazing Invasive Fish Fry! Throughout the tournament, invasive fish speared by participants directly out of the San Marcos River, will be fried and served with toppings and fixin's for FREE FISH TACOS! Take advantage of this opportunity to eat invasive fish removed from one of the most unique ecosystems in the world. We will have a donation jar for tips and all proceeds will go directly back into the Winter Polespear Tournament 2018!

Atlas Environmental could not be more thankful for Buzz Mill's amazing gesture of support for the local San Marcos community and the San Marcos River!

Please come join us at Buzz Mill on WEDNESDAY November 28th from 5pm-8pm to meet your local spearos, neighbors, and enjoy delicious fish tacos! A one-of-a-kind experience combining our love for the San Marcos River, conservation, and community!

Featuring live reggae music from Kairos 6:30pm to 7pm!
Awards will begin around 7:15pm.
