August Town Lake Shore Clean

Join us as we head down to Town Lake to remove trash and debris. We’ll be attacking the trash from the shore and from the water.

We’ll have six 2-person canoes available for use to get on the water and grab all the trash that can’t be reached from the shore. This is the work that most needs to be done, and it can be fun doing it.

We’ve been going back-and-forth month-to-month between cleaning our Lumber Society adopted Country Club Creek Greenbelt and the south shore of Town Lake. This August we’re back at Town Lake to do our part to help keep our NeighborWoods clean and enjoyable for all! 

We will provide tools and gloves (bring your own if you'd like) but bring a water bottle and wear work appropriate clothing. Long pants, long-sleeved shirt, closed-toe shoes, sunscreen, bug spray.

Afterward we’ll head back to Buzz Mill for lunch and a drink on us! Thanks!
